Grecian Hair Style Tutorial

 

So I've had alot of people ask me how I do my Grecian Style Updo so I thought I would show you how in a tutorial on my daughters hair!!
I use this hairstyle alot and

it is so so so easy that you'll be like oh my gosh! That's it?!?! :)

Hope this is helpful!

First comb out the hair

Then I like to curl it all so that it hair has more volume and wave..

I always curl from the bottom up!

(I love little girls with curly hair! :) )

Next take a headband

Place the headband on the head over the hair (not under)

Next starting from one side take the hair and wrap it over and around the headband... tucking the curls into the headband

Go from one side to other and adjust the rolled hair how you like it and what seems good..

Once it's all wrapped and secure in the headband, secure it even more with bobby pins.

and then spray with hairspray and adjust bangs to your liking and wah lah!!

(lol! She fell asleep while I was doing her hair! What a trooper!)

PR&P Final Challenge "Signature Look"

So I was so excited when Project Run and Play announced that they were doing another challenge, just because I wasn't able to do the last two challenges due to being overly busy!

The Final and Last Challenge of the season is to create a "Signature Look"!

So I got to thinking about what my signature look is and I knew for sure I wanted to do something that incorporated my whole Repurpose Idea and then I love making dresses!

So I made a dress using my own patterns and incorporated into the dress a piece from my own wedding dress!! Yes! I know some of you are probably like"You cut up your wedding dress!" Actually I was sewn into it on my wedding day and it had to be cut off and torn off of me that night! (yes very romantic! hahaha!) So I used a piece of my dress that was an added decorative detail that use to go across the waistline of my wedding dress. I added it to the shoulder and draped it down one side of the dress! My vision of this dress came out perfectly and It's a dress that has a lot of meaning to me and I'm glad I get to give it to my daughter!!

So here is what I came up with!!!

SuperBowl party Costumes!!

Well first off, just because our Packers didn't make it to the SuperBowl, doesn't mean we won't dress up and cheer for them!!! lol! In Wisconsin we are serious when it comes to our Packers! haha! Our church hosted a "Souper Bowl Contest and Party" for the SuperBowl and I was asked to make 4 close friends of ours Packer Kilts.. so what did I say? YES! lol!

Here they are!!

Next I made my daughter a tutu and Packer Skirt!

Then Finally I was asked to make the winning apron for the Soup Contest!!
